Community Support

Beyond the goal of providing a quality recruiting experience, Jobs About Town believes in supporting the community, and from that, donates 100% of the job board net proceeds to charitable organizations.

Achieving Charitable Goals:

Although we are a free site, in order to achieve our charitable goals, we encourage companies who do see the benefit of our services and charitable initiative to contribute to our worthwhile cause. By contributing we are able to assist individuals with career training, and many other necessities that help strengthen the community.  A list of these organizations can be found here, and through links on our homepage.  If you do know of a worthwhile charity to support, please let us know by emailing their information to orgsupport@jobsabouttown.com.

Contributions Guidelines:

There is no minimum contribution.  Anything that can be contributed is appreciated, but not required.  Once your positions are posted (Which We Handle), we send you a contribution letter allowing you to contribute.  This contribution letter will outline the charitable organizations we support.  Additionally, you will have the option of checking off the specific charities you'd like to support, or you can write in your own charitable cause, and we'll donate to that charity.

Job Posting Contribution Only:

Companies that cannot currently assist in a charitable contribution are heavily encouraged to still allow Jobs About Town to post your positions, as the greater the support of the site, the more community awareness is developed, and overall long term success of our charitable programs.
